I have been an exotic plant hobbyist for over twenty years and I have grown many borderline exotics outside in my UK garden with some success but also suffered many failures as I have continually tried to push the boundaries.

In recent times, my main passion has turned to the rare exotic genus of Philodendron and Anthurium, which originate from the South American rain forests of Ecuador and Colombia.

It was during the early days of the COVID-19 lockdown that I made the decision to turn my Aroid passion into a business and help like-minded hobbyists to source the top-quality plants they desire.

Following conversations with my fellow hobbyists and collectors, I know there are many issues with sourcing top quality pants and then being able to care for them once acquired. Unfortunately, the practice of importing rare aroids and then making them available for sale here in the UK BEFORE they have been fully acclimated is on the increase and a major concern among hobbyists.
