The School offers four major academic programs: Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Bachelor of Science in Substance Use and Treatment (BSSUT), Master of Social Work (MSW), and Ph.D. in Social Work.

MSW program offers studies for full-time, part-time, fully online, in-person in Arlington (main campus) or UTA Fort Worth.

BSW program offers studies for full-time, part-time, fully online or in-person at our Arlington (main campus) or UTA Fort Worth.

BSSUT is our new major for Substance Use and Treatment. Study full-time, part-time, fully online or in-person at our Arlington (main campus) or UTA Fort Worth.

We offer three minors: Diversity Studies Minor, Substance Use Treatment minor and Social Justice & Social Welfare Minor.

We offer six Graduate Certificates.

In the Ph.D. in Social Work program, cohorts start every fall semester.
