GCSMUS

The Global Center of Spatial Methods for Urban Sustainability (GCSMUS) is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via the DAAD program “Higher Education Excellence in Development Cooperation – exceed”.

GCSMUS was established in the context of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and focuses on SDG #11, which aims to ‘make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.’

GCSMUS, based at the Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin, Germany), is committed to developing and providing tools needed to tackle sustainable urban development issues.
