Rad Report

The Rad Report is my all-encompassing, multi-modal exploration of “rad” (80-99) cars. It started as a way to turn obsessive Craigslist scrolling into creative output; consumption into creation.

Eventually, I realized there were two kinds of followers: quip-fans and deal-hunters. So for the hunters, I created a Patreon which provides access to a curated feed of cars, about 25 a day. All manuals, all rad.

Over the 18 months of the Rad Report’s existence, there have been many suggestions of monetization. “You should start a BaT competitor” being the most popular. That is deeply uninteresting to me, however, if someone wants to make such a thing I’d be happy to provide editorial content :)

Presentation fascinates me as much as cars do. The combination of these interests happens in the selling of a mostly forgotten and definitely not “collectible” car. In the framing of a forgotten thing so the beauty might be (re)discovered.

Thanks for being here, hope you stick around!
