Ooredoo, the second largest mobile network operator in Kuwait, commenced its operations in December 1999. Today, Ooredoo provides mobile, broadband internet and client-tailored corporate managed services. Ooredoo – which is a Kuwaiti enlisted company and a member of the international Ooredoo Group based in Qatar – operates a group of regional subsidiaries in 4 countries (Algeria, Tunis, Maldives and Palestine). Ooredoo’s customer base in Kuwait for the first 9 months of 2018 increased 2% YOY to 2.3 million. Revenues for the same period were KWD 181.7 million, an increase of 13% YOY.
