Tribeca New Music
Tribeca New Music is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and presentation of the music of contemporary composers creatively engaged with popular culture. Tribeca New Music calls this type of performance art "avant pop," which defines an artistic response to an environment characterized by popular culture as defined in popular music, film, art, literature, design, architecture, commercial media, and the internet. Tribeca New Music programs reflect this reality in order to connect, inspire, challenge, educate, and entertain the public.
