Connecticut Humanities
The humanities programs we create inspire understanding through talking, sharing and listening, and make the humanities real and important to everyday life.
Whether at a library, a school or a community center, our programs value face-to-face interaction and facilitated conversation. We select and train our professional discussion leaders, scholars and teachers to engage people of all ages in a wide variety of humanities topics. Our youth programs introduce the world of books to children and help strengthen reading relationships among children, adults, and families. Our adult programs challenge us to think about ourselves and the world around us in new and insightful ways.
Think of them as nourishment for your mind. Whatever programs you join, you can be sure to find food for serious thought.
