Punks And Rockers is focused on documenting the Toronto punk rock scene and offering affordable video production services to musicians, bands and other artists.
Punks And Rockers was formed by Aldo Erdic who began chronicling the Toronto punk and indie scene in 1997 with a videozine series called F*U*TV. From the early- to late-2000s Aldo continued to document the music scene and also produced or directed several short experimental films with Nick Cushing under ToBeScene Productions.
In the 2010 Aldo directed "cira 1977: The Diodes", a documentary short about one of Toronto's first punk bands. The film premiered at the NxNE Film Festival in Toronto 2010 and was subsequently screened in Montreal and Croatia.
In 2011 Aldo co-directed and edited Lydia Lunch's performance video "Sick With Desire," to be released by LUFF Undertainment.
