SWFL Food Forest
Come along as we install, learn, and maintain our 2/3 acre South-West Florida "Food Forest" and garden. Some of the methods used include; Back to Eden Gardening, permaculture, bio-intensive, Square Foot, better then organic, gorilla, deep mulch, Back Yard Orchard Culture ( BYOC ), front yard botanical and vegetable gardens. We will have various content that shows what is entailed to have a low maintenance, self sustaining, sub-tropical food forest and garden. We will also post reviews of products we use. We are located in the Villas, Fort Myers, FL. Lee county, Southwest Florida (SWFL). Hardiness Zone: 10a, and Koppen-Geiger Climate Zone: Aw - Tropical Savanna (Wet and Dry Climate).
