How to tune into your senses
Sight: Look around & notice five things you can see. Pay attention to details like colors, shapes, and textures.
Touch: Identify four things you can feel. Focus on physical sensations like the texture of your clothing, the temperature of the air, or the pressure of your feet on the ground.
Hearing: Listen for three sounds in your environment. Notice both close sounds & distant noises, such as a bird chirping or leaves rustling
Smell: Take a deep breath and notice 2 distinct scents around you. These could be strong or subtle, pleasant or neutral.
Taste: Become aware of one thing you can taste. This could be the residual taste of your last meal, salty air, & simply the sensation in your mouth.
