Called to Homestead
Hello everyone! I'm Melissa.
Thank you for visiting me here on the homestead. I am a busy mom of three children and our family has a farm on 5 acres in central Wisconsin. I have a passion for all things homestead. From raising livestock to gardening, beekeeping, canning/preserving, and everything in between.
We raise a variety of animals- pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cattle, horses and of course, our family cow. A small apiary is also on our homestead with two busy hives of bees. In the spring we tap trees and make maple syrup. Our gardens and orchard provide us with lots of produce to can, freeze and preserve. There is always something going on in the farmhouse or on the farm.
