Hi my name is Will Roda…
We retired to Panama in 2015 where we built our home on isla Solarte and have lived off grid for the past 6 years. We run an Air B with our 2 guest homes. Never thought we would ever leave. About 2 years ago we found a beach front property. Life has a funny way about it… if ya just stay in the moment.
The property is an area called Paunch Beach, on the main island of Bocas Town, on isla Colon. It has about 110’ of white sand beach directly in front of the home site. Lots of channels out there for building in the wilderness but almost nothing for building on the beach. I thought I would start this channel to help take some of the mystery out of it. There are a lot of challenges building that close to the ocean and the salt air. We will explore them together here and hopefully provide some solutions and inspirations as well as show y’all what it’s like to have a “Life in the Caribbean”
