CINEMATEK
CINEMATEK, the Royal Belgian Film Archive, is one of the most important archives in Europe and in the world, due to its collections, its activities in exhibiting and distributing archival films across Europe and its history of breakthrough research in film restoration.
Films are screened daily, in both digital and analog (35mm) format, in two well-equipped screening rooms. Silent films screenings are accompanied by live piano score. The permanent and free exhibition in the Wunderkammer displays the main stages in the prehistory of the cinema using mechanized objects.
