We are Islamic Relief USA. Ours is a story that begins at the grassroots more than 30 years ago. It begins with the hearts of a few men and women, moved by stories and images of poverty and suffering in Africa. Inspired by the generosity of a few donors who believed that together, we can make the world better.

It was a spark that ignited a movement.

From their sacrifice grew a worldwide network of staff, volunteers and tens of thousands of donors who are changing the world, helping millions of people every year.


Our mission is to provide relief and development in a dignified manner regardless of gender, race, or religion, and to work to empower individuals in their communities and give them a voice in the world.
