Also known as the Paulist Choristers of Chicago. The Choristers were formed in 1904 in response to Pope Pius X's 'Motu Proprio' regarding the appropriate form of music for Catholic worship. After the reforms of Vatican II, Latin was replaced with the vernacular, and a more inclusive form of music, congregational singing, was encouraged. The choir disbanded in 1967.

The Paulist Choir Alumni Chorale was later formed and has continued to sing together. In 2004, a large group of former choristers, gathered for their 100 year anniversary at Chicago's Holy Name Cathedral. A Mass was celebrated by Cardinal George - Archbishop of Chicago, also a former chorister, and sung by the Chorale.
