Mitch Cigar Box Guitar
This channel is to present the guitars I make and to give you the opportunity to hear their sounds.
I am currently a professor of biology.
Loving the blues, the history and the universe of the Cigar Box Guitar fascinated me.
I am self-taught "wild guitar maker".
My motivations are multiple.
- The creation of Vintage instruments.
Giving "Life" back to cigar boxes that were going to be thrown away most of the time.
- Sharing and creating links between guitar enthusiasts.
My approach:
- I make my instruments in the original spirit of the old bluesmen era.
- I make Handmade alone in my garage, with rudimentary tools.
- Special care is given to the neck construction, adjustment/tuning of the guitar to obtain a real instrument that sounds perfectly right with a good playing comfort.
My ambition :
To create quality instruments, perfectly tuned and comfortable to play.
I make most of the time on order to satisfy the wishes and specifications of each guitarist.
