The Expedition Hiker channel is for anyone that enjoys being in the great outdoors. The channel is focused on hiking, wild camping, backpacking, gear reviews, plus tips and skills from day walks & expeditions to long distance national trails of the UK & beyond.

I am Andy an Army Veteran & Outdoor Leader, I have numerous outdoor qualifications including Mountain Leadership, I have been teaching outdoor expedition for 30 years (2021) while in the army, as an outdoor education leader & as a DofE award leader/assessor & manager. I also enjoy creating my own adventures.

My passion is to give the younger generation new skills & experiences through adventure. If more people get out they can enjoy our wonderful planet and becoming the custodians of the future.
