Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway
The Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway meanders through delicate expanses of three national wildlife refuges, a national seashore, as well as numerous state and local parks, and sanctuaries. The Indian River is home to more than 4,000 species of plants and animals – the largest number of species of any estuary in North America.
