Roland TD 17 Hacks

This channel is dedicated to getting the most out of the Roland TD 17. When I first set up the TD 17 and played it, I immediately noticed a few things that just didn’t work for me. After several fruitless online searches and countless re-reading of the manuals, it was clear I was going to have to figure it out myself. I worked like a mad scientist in my “beats lab” analyzing the issues, performing unsettling experiments and occasional acts of voodoo. Soon I discovered simple hacks for overcoming the limitations and design “flaws” and improving the sounds and playability for a more realistic and enjoyable experience. In the process, I also gained a much, much greater understanding of the physics of drums and drum sound engineering...bonus!
