Riverback Sanctuary

Welcome to Riverback Sanctuary – our sacred island in the Philippines.
We are a French–Filipino couple who took on a wild challenge: to live on a small island in the middle of a river. What was once untouched jungle, we cleared and transformed into a tropical sanctuary from scratch. Here, we share our slow-living journey through outdoor cooking, natural building, crafts, and creating a sanctuary for Nature.
