Gibran Caroline Boyce

Gibran Caroline Boyce is a freelance multimedia journalist based in NYC, covering Washington and the world. Graduating December 2025, she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in international reporting and broadcast journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism (CUNY). She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies, with a concentration in cooperation and conflict, from Boston College.

Reporting from Yerevan, Armenia, Boyce covered international security, geopolitics, conflict and culture for EVN Report as a summer 2025 intern. Previously she worked as a production intern at CNN on “Fareed Zakaria GPS” and as a Puente News Collaborative Reporting Fellow, field reporting from the U.S.-Mexico Border. Her written work and photojournalism have been published in The Guardian, El Pais, EVN Report, among many others. Boyce has been broadcast on Spectrum News NY1 and the NYCity News Service.
