About Randy; I became interested in climbing as a teenager and get out regularly. I am also into other sports. I will sometimes climb alone. I began climbing on my own when climbing arrangements were changed at the last moment. I then decided to go anyway. Going solo is not for everyone. I am not endorsing that at all. I think it is great to get out, have a great time and come home to those that love you. A body-bag story or making the 6:00 news is not my idea of fun. If you do decide to climb, make sure you get proper instruction, know what you are doing, and think! You can always back off from a climb if it gets too intense. Have fun and come home safe!
