How ELEGOO Emerges
A decade ago, open-source electronics faced two major challenges: limited access to suitable technical tools, particularly for beginners, and a lack of universalized STEM education. Makers in the STEM industry and enterprises focused solely on open-source electronics hardware, as they lacked the tools to create a complete product by integrating electronic hardware and structural shells.
In 2015, Chris Hong founded ELEGOO in Shenzhen, the Silicon Valley of China, with a mission to offer practical electronic and structural tool kits that cater to the needs of students, enthusiasts, and STEM professionals worldwide.
