TriOptimum
A collection of System Shock 1 (VG, 1994) cinematics.
A rock solid game, even today. Too bad it didn't do so well commercially, despite praise from both critics and players.
You'll quickly develop a love-hate relationship with the ship's onboard AI, SHODAN. SHODAN has been voted as one of the best villains in the gaming industry. Some of her best taunts can be found on wikiquote and IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0308955/
The game is now completely free, and available for download from the web - just be sure to get the CD-enhanced version, not the older floppy disc version. The game can run on most modern systems (see the FAQ@wiki) or join the discussions at TtLG forums: http://www.ttlg.com

Also, be sure to check out the sequel, System Shock 2 (1999). The second istallment is NOT free, but can be bought with some luck from eBay or discount bins.
