Strange Famous Records has comfortably existed on the fringes of hip hop since 1996. Founded by independent hip hop legend Sage Francis as a way to release his own music, by 2005 the operation had expanded tenfold and now boasts releases from some of the best independent hip hop acts around the world, including:
