About ME:
Hi I’m Miki Miura, DNP, APRN, FNP-C👋
I’m a family nurse practitioner (FNP) in Hawaii, USA.
I was born and raised in Japan🇯🇵. I moved to the U.S. to become an NP when I was 25 years old after working as a registered nurse in Japan✈️
English is my second language but I was able to graduate from my master’s program (FNP program) as a valedictorian👩🎓 and was selected for the State Award for Excellence in 2024 by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners🏆
My motto is “WORK HARD, PLAY HARD.” While seeing patients at clinics, precepting NP students, and run an online coaching business, I surf at least a few times a week🏄♀️ and go on international trips at least quarterly✈️
Our mission is to teach foreign-trained nurses, NP students, and new grad NPs how to build strong NP careers in the U.S. effectively and efficiently so that they can have the fantastic lifestyle they've dreamed of✨
