The Purposes of the Biblical Counseling and Discipleship Association of Southern California (BCDASoCal):
1) Training: Provide inexpensive and high quality basic and advanced training every Fall (Sept-Nov)
2) Discipleship: To equip Christians for more effective person-to-person discipleship
3) Church-based Counseling Centers: Equip the local church to shepherd its members and minister the gospel to its community
4) Progressive Sanctification: Train believers to conform to the image of Christ through obedience to Scripture
5) Accurate Handling of Scripture: Proper application results from the proper exposition of Scripture
6) Sufficiency of Scripture: Promote that Scripture alone is both accurate and authoritative for all spiritual counsel
