Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre
This is the Oral History Channel for the The Pembroke Dock Heritage Trust.
Based at the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre, itself a the former Georgian Royal Dockyard Chapel, this is the place where we will upload our extensive oral history collection for the benefit of researchers, historians and family members of the veterans who kindly gave us their time to record their remarkable stories.
The interviewees include RAF pilots, aircrew and groundcrew, soldiers, sailors and civilians, all with some connection to Pembroke Dock.
Recordings were made between 2002 and 2015, sadly, almost all of those interviewed are no longer alive.
