Acid Casualties: The Live Pavement Archive
"Back in the day" there was a website called AcidCasualties.com. It started one night in 2001 when Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks played the Bluebird Theater in Denver, Colorado. When the band arrived they found out there was no opening band, so they made their own opener. The band consisted of Stephen Malkmus (keyboards), Remko Schouten (Drums), Andy Dimmock (Bass), Kevin Guthrie (Guitar). Anyway...for some reason this inspired me to create a fansite for SM+Jicks. It turned into more of a live audio archive of Jicks and other Pavement related bands. Eventually I lost interest and the site died. In 2018 I figured I'd upload the archive of audio to the YouTubes since I figured YouTube won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
JAN '23 UPDATE: Beggars has blocked much of the content here so unfortunately I have to stop uploading as it is a waste of time now. No copyright was ever intended. This was for the fans by the fans. It's their right...but pretty lame IMO.
