Who We Are:

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is the entity in Barbados responsible for the monitoring, assessment, control and protection of the island’s water resources.

The Authority is a Statutory Body charged with supplying the island with potable water as well as the provision of wastewater treatment and disposal services to the sewered areas of Bridgetown and the South Coast.

Water Wednesdays:

Water Wednesdays is a production of the Barbados Water Authority created to provide the Authority with a forum to inform and educate the public via a series of television features highlighting:

• general water and wastewater matters of interest;
• works being undertaken by the BWA that will benefit or affect customers;
• emergency or crisis water or wastewater situations
or
• any other water related topics of public interest.
