Steps to Music Literacy
"Steps to Music Literacy" lessons and materials instruct how to understand and read music starting with beat and progressing to rhythms and melodies using a step-by-step sequential, systematic process. Children, as young as 4, or as old as adults will benefit from these lessons. The lessons may be used at home or in a classroom. The activities will involve listening, singing, playing, moving to, writing, reading, creating and thinking music to help master an understanding of the language of music. Ukulele activities for learning songs on the instrument are also included.
