I’m sharing my personal journey of transitioning to a fully electric lifestyle—one step at a time. I switched to an electric vehicle, installed a solar system to generate my own electricity, and as a result, my energy bills have dropped significantly.

Knowing that 21% of the UK’s emissions come from leaky homes, I decided to take it further and focus on improving my home’s thermal envelope. The goal wasn’t just to cut emissions—it was to make our living space more comfortable, energy-efficient, and climate-friendly.

I’m not an expert. I’m simply a homeowner who rolled up their sleeves, did the research, and made it happen—learning throughout the process. And honestly? It’s been totally worth it.
