Katherine Dalton-Brown Long/Yoga Kate is a certified yoga instructor and practicing optometrist. Kate has practised yoga since 1999 and has been teaching yoga since 2009. Kate is a certified yoga instructor, having studied initially with Bliss Yoga-Trinidad & Tobago, Karma Kids Yoga-New York, USA, Loraine Rushton-Zenergy Yoga - Australia and Glenn Black at Omega Institute, New York, USA. Kate completed Off the Mat into the World - Yoga, Purpose & Action Intensive with Seane Corn, Hala Khouri & Suzanne Sterling-Seattle, USA.
Yoga Kate completed a yoga therapy programme in Nepal in March/April 2017 working with girls and women rescued from various Human Rights Atrocities. Kate facilitated at the Bali Silent Retreat, Tabanan, Bali in July/August 2019. Yoga Kate is a certified Yoga 4 Health Yoga instructor having completed training in Manchester UK in September 2019.
Yoga Kate offers weekly yoga sessions to the ladies at the Women’s Prison in Trinidad & Tobago.
