Brief about my village.
Wui medium size village from khiamniungan Naga tribe. Wui dialect is different from the Khiamniungan Naga tribe. Dwelling in Thonoknyu Block of Noklak district, Nagaland. Coordinates of the village is Latitude 26⁰02.8” N and Longitude 95⁰
04.16” E. The highest point of the village is situated at 160m above mean sea level.
It is situated 32km away from sub-district headquarter Thonoknyu and 62km away from district headquarter Noklak. Approximately with 170 families residing.
The village is known for its traditional art of iron-smelting and iron tool production like dao machete spear,spade,axe and many more since pre-colonial times.The village is also well known for pottery making.
