Marike Jager

Marike Jager is a well-known Dutch singer-songwriter and music artist. While backpacking through Australia as a teenager, she learned to play the guitar and gained experiences that would fuel her creative work for years to come.
A weaver of stories, Marike Jager is inspired by The Beatles, Fiona Apple, Beck and Tim Burton. She collaborated with hip-hop dancer Shailesh Bahoran for ‘Nederlandse Dansdagen’, surprised with the experimental duo 'M ft. M' (with drummer Martijn Bosman) and wrote a mesmerizing duet with Canadian songwriter Ron Sexsmith.
