My story:
I’ve been teaching for over 13 years, I’ve taught in Madinah in Masjed An-Nabawi.
I was born in Madinah & I learnt through many traditional Arab & non Arab teachers & none of the traditional ways of learning worked for me! I was a bad learner.
I started learning the Quran when I was just 4.
Why do we learn Qaedah? Why do we memorise Tajweed rules? None of it made sense to me.
I only discovered when I was doing my 2nd degree that I actually have dyslexia!
I believe it was the sincerity of my parents that got me to memorise the entire Quran & become an Imam by the age of 15.
After I finished the Quran memorisation in Madinah:
I was knighted by the prince of Madinah.
I was selected for a scholarship program to become a teacher.
I was mentored by some of the best teachers in Madinah.
In just 4 years, I was running a successful Madrasa (Quran institute) in Madinah & I ranked as one of the top teachers in Madinah.
