Our Backwoods Homestead
Hello, we are Tony Ray & Patty Jones welcome to “Our Backwoods Homestead” in rural North Nashville on 4 acres.
We are Homesteading and looking forward to raising egg laying chickens to start and a large garden. We plan to add other animals as we grow!
Right now, we have been clearing the back area of the property for our chicken shed/coop and run.
We have been interested in Homesteading for 4 years and reaching out to other Homesteaders to learn and expand our knowledge and this lifestyle.
We have always lived a simple life from the day we got married in 2005, we purchased the small house on 4 acres and have remodeled the entire house to fit our needs. We are working our way to a more self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle especially in the times we are living in.
