MALIA's new album 'Back in My Body' is a follow-up to the heartbreak dealt with in 2022’s “What’s After, “I Love You?”-- It highlights the healing journey of becoming conscious of the unconscious and the powerful metamorphosis of reclaiming responsibility for one's life… As if spilling off the journal pages, the lyrical content speaks to re-writing her own story, addressing trauma and healing inner wounds. Years of hardening and buried beauty are addressed in this softening, leading a new found path out of her head and back into her body: A better version of herself emerges.
