Tommaso Lonquich

Clarinetist, psychoanalyst and educator, Tommaso Lonquich has been acclaimed as a “formidable clarinetist" and praised for "the mastery and passion of his playing". He is an artist of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in New York and for 13 years was solo clarinetist with Ensemble MidtVest, the international full-time chamber ensemble based in Denmark.

He has appeared on the world’s most prestigious stages (Carnegie, Wigmore, Alice Tully, Pleyel, Suntory, Kennedy Center, King’s Place) and is regularly invited to major festivals (Lockenhaus, Oxford, Menlo, Mecklenburg, Pacific, Santander, La Jolla).

In Denmark, Tommaso Lonquich is Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director of Schackenborg Musikfest. He is in worldwide demand for masterclasses and lectures.

Alongside his artistic career, Tommaso Lonquich is a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist, co-founder of the International Center for Lacanian Psychoanalysis in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
