Video Cassette

My first video montage was made back in the nineties copying scenes from one video tape to another using two VCRs. The music was played simultaneously but from outside in an audio cassette player. Today I don't have a VCR anymore or even a DVD player. Movies in digital format and streamed via internet made montage less mechanical and easier using computer editing softwares. I use iMovie on a MacBook Pro.

"Eric Northman (True Blood)" was my first experiment using iMovie in 2016. A very rudimentary technic, recording the TV screen with my IPhone and editing in the iMovie app. Here I posted just the supercuts.

"Movie Song Clips" were my next step, using images of better quality. And it was the first time I overlapped sounds.

“Fan fiction” is my favorite now. To be able to create new endings and alternate stories of movies and characters I love is ultimate dream of a cinephile.
