My name’s Bruce and I’m a proud owner of a black x150 XKR 5.0 litre AJ-V8 GEN III Supercharged and previously a silver 1999 XK8 x100, AJ27 engine. The object of this channel is to share the knowledge I gained while owning "Silvester" the XK8 as well as the knowledge while owning "Silvester James Pussycat - Rebel without Claws" the XKR.
Jaguar introduced the XK-Series in 1996 from a foundation of the XJ-S. The second generation x150 series was introduced in 2006 with a 4.2 engine, six-speed ZF 6HP26 automatic transmission with J-gate gear selector, upping to 5.0 litre in 2009 with six-speed ZF 6HP28 and rotary gear selector. 2011 saw a minor facelift for front and rear styling and internal trim changes with navigation system and a backup camera
