Fosterville Gold Mine
Situated 25km east of Bendigo, Fosterville Gold Mine – operated by Agnico Eagle Mines Limited – is the largest gold producer in the state of Victoria. As of the end of 2021, the mine has extracted over 3.5 million ounces of gold since the commencement of the current operation in 2005.
With over 800 people employed at the mine – who are mostly local to the area – Fosterville Gold Mine strongly believes in engaging with and contributing to the local community.
