Yellow Creek Railroad
The Yellow Creek Railroad is an indoor, G scale, western layout set early in the 20th century. It uses LGB track, LGB and Piko trains, Pola and scratch built structures. It was designed using AnyRail software and is located in the basement of my home. The total area of the layout is 1,100 square feet over a 40 x 45 foot space. Total length of the main line is 540 feet with elevation changes from 32" to 72". Future plans include tunneling through the wall, at 72 inches, and construction of an outdoor extension.
