Merdy Say

Merdy Say is one of the revered Karen artists whom rose to fame in 1996 when she released her first album "Hee-Ka" and has since been recognized as one of the most influential and inspirational Karen singers of all times. Merdy started singing at an early age, competing in some local singing competitions and winning most of these events by impressing the judges with her singing ability. Merdy released three albums in total, and all of them were well received upon release. She also appeared in several Klo and Kweh Music Videos and received K.K.M.A Music Academy Award in 2002. Even though Merdy is rarely seen on the screen for the past 19 years, her songs remained popular among the Karen communities.
