Hello, my name is Jeff Novak and I've spent 35 years in carpentry. About 26 of those years I have made furniture and cabinets for customers, family and friends. I like to talk about the tools I use, the methods and the struggle to make a living doing something you love. In the last three years I've become almost obsessed with how struggling craft people can achieve more with less. Less power tools and more hand tools, less space, less expensive materials, less dust and noise, etc etc. I hope you find something here that gives you ideas, entertains you, and helps you solve problems as you go through your struggle to create and work in our troublesome times.
