A Korean double-reed, p’iri (피리)
This channel is to archive p'iri performances from a standpoint of a researcher, and ethnographer. My professional training for playing a Korean wind instrument, p'iri, started in 2008. I have mostly engaged in performing the p'iri within an elite community in Seoul until then. Since 2020, I present Korean wind instruments (p'iri, t'aepyǒngso) to seek a cultural and affective meaning in the Globe.
