Beyond their art, it is about human perseverance and how people get by in the midst of struggle.
Artbeat of the City is an ongoing multi-media documentary project focusing on artists, buskers, performers and musicians performing on the streets of Portland, Oregon. Each person’s story stands on their own yet all of the stories interconnect to tell the story of an An Artbeat of the City.
Their stories show their performances and art and shows what life is like beyond the streets in which they showcase their art.
This is a multi-media production series, using still photos, audio interviews, and video recordings.
There will be a mixture of stories: some more in depth than others. There will be various artists interviewed and filmed throughout Portland, Oregon
