The School includes the disciplines of Hindi and English, an Editorial Unit and a Translation Unit. Apart from certificate, diploma and degree programmes in Hindi and English, the School has also developed Foundation Courses in Sanskrit and eleven Modern Indian Languages. In addition to academic programmes, the editing unit is involved in editing study materials and other publications of the University.

The translation unit is also under the School. This unit takes care of Hindi translation and vetting of learning material and other publications. The School has initiated Certificate level programmes in the teaching of German and Japanese language.
