Roman is Montenegrin, born in Kemerovo, Russia. He made his first violin steps with his father, Maestro Igor Simovic and he got his Master degree in the class of legendary violinist Marina Yashwili. He was assistant and then docent at the Music Academy at Cetinje University.
During his early education period, he studied flute, trombone and piano but his biggest love was and always will be a violin.
