Harmonikester Radovljica
Harmonikarski orkester Radovljica - z delovanjem je pričel v letu 1966, kot prvi slovenski orkester, sestavljen izključno iz harmonik. Igramo raznovrstno glasbo, od klasične, tango, do slovenske narodnozabavne glasbe (Avsenik).
Accordion orchestra of musical school Radovljica originates from 1966. With Jože Ažman, it demonstrated
its quality work in radio and television recordings as well as in meetings with other musical schools,
often abroad. Tomaž Cilenšek took over the orchestra’s baton in 1994 and brought it to a decent quality level as it
took part in several international competitions and was awarded several times. After this successful period a young
concert accordionist Gašper Primožič became the orchestra leader and drew in several younger
accordion players. In 2008, the orchestra was invited by the Slovenian
president Dr. Danilo Türk to play at a national ceremony and create the complete musical
arrangement. Slovenian national television broadcasted the performance live.
